This blog has been effectively defunct for nearly ten years.
But since the posts still exist, and I just used the URL when commenting on someone else’s blog, I thought I’d give a quick update on what I’m doing at the moment.
My current non-work project is a podcast, Reading Jane Austen.
My website about Noel Streatfeild – which pre-dated the blog – is still in existence, though crying out for an interface refresh. One of these days, when I have time …
I still work for Cambridge University Press.
I am still fencing, and now eligible to compete at Veteran World Championships, which I really enjoy.
Going to films and the theatre was somewhat disrupted by COVID, but is now starting to return to normal.
My cat, Artemis, sadly died shortly before her 21st birthday. Some months later, we acquired a new cat, Nimbus. (Named by the RSPCA, not us. We think it is a meteorological reference, not a Harry Potter one.)
