E-Learning Products

Harriet Jordan has been involved in a number of e-Learning projects while employed by SingTel Optus Ltd and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

Australian First Aid

A CD-ROM developed by the Commonwealth Bank for St John Ambulance, Australia, containing the theoretical component of the St John Ambulance Senior First Aid course.

Harriet was involved in the overall design plan, and was responsible for the design of several Tutorials, and for the design and development of the highly interactive Case Study component.

The finished product received a Certificate of Special Commendation in 1996 from the Australian Institute of Training and Development (NSW Branch).

Effective Leadership

A CD-ROM prerequisite to a workshop, which all Commonwealth Bank management staff are required to attend. This material is delivered using the metaphor of an early 20th century Antarctic expedition.

Harriet was involved in the instructional design plan, and was responsible for the design and development of four of the six modules.

Cost Centre Management

An online training package introducing new Optus Cost Centre Managers to the internal budgeting and forecasting processes, including the use of certain SAP modules.

Harriet was responsible for all information gathering and analysis. She developed the instructional design plan and fully storyboarded the training package for development by a Flash programmer.

Reitz SVoC

The Reitz project was an extremely large Optus initiative that involved streamlining and better integrating twelve different customer and account management systems. The overall training plan involved both face-to-face sessions, and an online component.

Harriet was responsible for the instructional design of the online component for Release 2 of Project Reitz. This included an introduction to an entirely new computer system together with upgrades to an existing system. Both procedural and system changes were covered in the training. Harriet fully storyboarded the training package for development by a Flash programmer. She also developed the detailed system simulations incorporated in the training.
