Last night, in Brooklyn New York, I think I saw the same production you did! I was searching for information on it and came across this blog post. I didn't know in advance it was going to be in Russian, and was nearly mad enough to leave, but decided to stay and found it very enjoyable. The acting was great and they had a lot of wonderfully comedic stage direction going on. The all-male cast feature was an entertaining aspect as well. I'm glad I stayed ... but I still think it would have been better in English!
